Part 3 - Laws are required to Govern

Father, a King rules by establishing laws and appointing governors over his kingdom, and while we known that the lawless one will oppose the kingship of Your Son immediately prior to the establishment of peace and truth there are already those who say they would not have Him to rule over them. Grant wisdom to the true Bride to understand that all who stand in rebellion against the Lord Jesus will be slain when He comes to His throne. All anarchists and rebels, all who are sexually immoral, all thieves and murders and all liars.

Father the sisters of the Bride who claim that the Laws You established are no longer importance, forget that the Law show mankind how to live at peace with each other and live in harmony with You. We acknowledged that the ritual law, which was a forerunner of what was to be completed in Christ, Jesus is no longer required. The ritual laws only foreshadowed, forgiveness of sin, and freedom from the death penalty which was enslaving us.

But concerning the ten great moral laws established from before time, many of the sisters of the bride are only offering lip service. Others are claiming the Law in it entirety is done away with. We know Father that the signpost are only required to be followed while the traveller is on their journey, but many are trying to, if it was possible, move the signposts You established to point us to Your Son Jesus. We accept it is not necessary for us to observe the rituals of the written law but we still need to understand how these things pointed towards Your Son. How can a person be taught the fullness of the faith if the only record Jesus alluded to within His teaching is considered to be useless for correct, and reproof etc.

It is little wonder that they foolishly accept unholy practice and are willing to compromise with the rulers of this world when they allege that You have changed Your approach to them and no longer will punish them if they only acknowledge Your Son as their saviour. Have they not read that it is a doer of the word that is justified not the hearer of the word.

They are completely blind to the truth, accepting the teaching of demons over the teaching of God. Father, You stated that You would send them the prophets at the last days to restore all things, but they are unable to accept the need for this from You, and knowing that the redemptive work has completed in Jesus Christ, they state that they are now free to decide their own fate and chose to worship you as they chose, normally only with lip service, with a nodding acknowledgement of the work completed by the true King. Father their actions indicate that they do not want Your son Jesus Christ to return as they wish to be free from Law and understand that He will establish His rule as with a rod of iron, which is Your Law.

We understand Father that you have reserved the time and season for the return of our Lord Jesus to this earth to assume control from the evil one, and we are reminded that the earth and humanity have to deteriorate to unacceptable levels of depravity before the Christ returns. Father how much worse can humanity get before the stench is too much for Your holy nostrils to bear.

Father we are preparing to carry the witness You charged us with, when You stated that we were to go to the Church as call out to her that the time of separation has arrived when the Bride is to make herself ready for her forthcoming groom. We ask that You continue to sent the necessary support to allow the work to be progressed and that You bless all the workers who You have called to undertake the work of calling the Bride out for her father's house so that she will be ready to meet her true Lord and master Jesus Christ on His return to claim his kingdom and His bride.

Father as we close this quick summary of the conditions we have witnessed we ask that You release the end time provision promised to the Bride and to the elect called to witness over these last days. Strengthen Your Church, which is established in Your name and empower Her with Your Most Holy Spirit to allow a powerful witness for Your son to be carried to all the world.

May Your grace and peace be upon all of the children You foreknew and give as servants to Your Son Jesus. We close In Jesus' name, Your faithful ambassadors.

  William Huston, is an ordained preaching elder / minister for a congregation in Ballymoney and lived with his wife Elsa in Co Antrim.
  
  William recently addressed the Welcome Church in Lurgan with a message entitled 'An Invitation to a King's Wedding' in which he explores the parable which is recorded in Matthew Chapter 22, of a King who is arranging the Wedding of his Son, and how the first invited guests refused to accept the invitation so he sends his servants out into the highways and byways to opened it up to everyone in the Kingdom, rich and poor alike.

  Connie has been a founding member of the pastoral counsel since it was first introduced to support the active ministry in the Church a number of years ago and quickly moved into a public speaking ministry following her ordination.
  
  Connie in her latest sermon, entitled 'A Pearl of Great Price' discusses the examples Jesus used within the four gospels to demonstrate what the Kingdom of Heaven was like, and how we as citizens of that kingdom are to live.
